Join us Sunday Mornings at 9:00am | 1203 Park Ave. Murfreesboro, TN

You are about to embark on a spiritual journey that will draw you closer to the presence of Jesus

“If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” Jeremiah 29:13

This season of prayer and fasting is your move towards God. These next three weeks will be a time for you to turn down the noise of life and hear the voice of God in a fresh way.

What is Fasting?

Fasting isn’t something that we “have to do” but rather something that we “get to do”. It’s the simple act of giving something up, for a period of time, to seek God and draw us closer to Him.

Many people will practice what is called the Daniel Fast, which basically eliminates meats, sweets, and treats. Others will fast one meal a day for the next three weeks, taking the time during that mealtime to pray and spend time in the presence of God. While others with medical reasons might choose to fast television or social media. The focus isn’t on what you are giving up but on what you are going to receive. The focus is not on what you are saying no to but Who you are saying yes to. We call it fasting but it is really slowing down to hear the still small voice of the Holy Spirit.

Join us for 21 days (January 4-24) of intentional prayer to ask God to do what only He can do in our lives, our families, our city and our church.
